Paris Peace Forum Hosts Anglophone Crisis Through Abgor Balla

The forum which runs from the 11-14 of November brings together over 60 Heads of States, governments, civil society organisations and stakeholders to brainstorm on ways to promote peace across the world 100 years after the end of the First World War.

Felix Agbor Nkongho who has been a key figure in the Anglophone crisis in Cameroon after leading a lawyers’ strike back in 2016 to protest aagainst the marginalisation of the Common Law judicial system in Cameroon will be present at the forum.

It is another avenue for the President of the banned Cameroon Anglophone Civil Society Consortium to present the Anglophone problem to the world and propose ways of resolving the crisis which has since metarmophosed into an armed conflict between government soldiers and armed separatist fighters.

His invitation to Paris comes just two weeks afer his presentation at the Canadian parliament on the crisis where he proposed ways out, one of them being a referendum.
